 Karmat’s research activities focuses on two areas: coating formulation developments and new or improved coating technologies. Optimal coatings are developed from a combination of coating formulation, coating thickness, coating uniformity and process parameters.

Formulation Development

Formulation development begins by identifying the problem that a coating may be required. If a coating application is determined to be a viable solution to the problem.  We identify the technology that is best suited to provide the solution taking into account the customer's application, particle size distribution, cost factors, release profile, kosher status, Grass material and any other requirements.

From R&D, through pilot testing, to full scale production, Karmat can enhance your product's performance and consistency by using a variety of sophisticated encapsulation methods and techniques.
